In this episode of TV Tortured Together, Jacob and Laura take a dive—well, Laura lounges—into the world of Married with Children, where Al Bundy proves once again that failure is his love language. Between launching the worst shoe hotline since… ever, and having Peggy’s credit cards seized like a suburban mafia bust, the Bundys are back and as dysfunctional as ever. Laura confesses she can’t swim, which is fine because neither could Al—financially, emotionally, or otherwise. The courtroom scene is peak chaos, the commercial looks like it was filmed on a potato, and yet somehow, that iconic theme song still slaps.
